The study aims to invistigate The Reality of Educational Supervision in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate and its Relationship to the Outstanding Performance of Teachers from the School Principals Point of View, and the differences in each of them due to: gender, supervising authority, educational qualification, and years of experience.
The study uses the relational descriptive approach, by applying: The educational supervision and outstanding performance of teachers. These scales are applied to a stratified random sample, which includes 163 principals in the academic year 2021-2022.
The results show the mean of the reality of educational supervision of teachers, with an average of 3.63, and a percentage 72.6%, and "the roles of the educational supervisor" is the highest. On the other hand, "the supervisory tasks" is the lowest, and the results indicate that there is no statistically significant difference between the educational supervision of teachers averages and their domains due to the variables: gender, supervising authority, educational qualification, and years of experience.
The results show that teachers have a high level of outstanding performance of techers, with an average of 3.72, and a percentage 74.4%, where "the assessment" is the highest, and the "professional competencies" is the lowest. The results indicate that there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of educational supervision of teachers and its fields according to the variables, gender and educational qualification, while the differences were significant as per type of school in favor of the institution compared to other cases, and years of experience in favor of 10 years or more.
The results show that there is a statistically significant correlation between the study variables. The relationship is positive and significant between the reality of educational supervision and the level of outstanding performance of teachers from the School Principals Point of View in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, the value of the correlation coefficient was .197.
