Abstract: The study aimed to investigate the impact of vocational training programs for adults with intellectual disabilities on their quality of life from the perspective of their families in the Eastern Jerusalem area. It sought to determine the relationship between the dimensions of quality of life (social, health, psychological) and these programs, as well as to explore differences based on variables such as gender, age, severity of disability, place of residence, and educational level The descriptive analytical method was employed in the study. To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher used a questionnaire to measure the impact of vocational training programs on quality of life, ensuring its validity and reliability using appropriate statistical methods. The questionnaire was applied to a simple random sample consisting of 188 participants, which included the parents of adults with intellectual disabilities in the Eastern Jerusalem area The results showed a positive relationship between vocational training programs and the quality of life for adults with intellectual disabilities. No statistically significant differences were found in the impact of these programs on quality of life based on the variables of gender, place of residence, age, severity of disability, and educational level. The researcher noted a deficiency in support for families and relevant authorities in providing effective and continuous training In light of the results, a set of recommendations was made, including the need to enhance vocational training programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities and to develop them according to their capabilities and needs. It is also essential to raise awareness among parents and the local community about the importance of vocational training in improving the quality of life for their children. Additionally, community partnerships between vocational training centers and the private sector should be established to expand employment and rehabilitation opportunities.
