Abstract: This study aims to uncover the implications of employing digital field broadcasting technology on content strategies in Palestinian satellite channels, in terms of reach, performance efficiency, operational costs, and content quality. The research was guided by an important question concerning the impact of this technology on the volume and quality of produced content. The study adopts descriptive-analytical methodology and relies on two primary tools for data collection: in-depth open interviews and direct observation. A purposive sample of 17 professionals from Palestinian media institutions was selected, including field photographers, technicians, decision-makers, news presenters, and broadcasting service providers. Data were analyzed by categorizing responses according to themes related to technological impact, usage spread, and staff interaction. The findings were interpreted through two core theoretical frameworks: The Diffusion of Innovations Theory and the Mediamorphosis Theory. Findings indicated that digital broadcasting via the internet enhanced the speed of field coverage, improved operational flexibility, and reduced costs compared to traditional satellite broadcast vehicles. The results also revealed a shift in field team structures and journalistic workflows. It was found that this also led to role overlap between cameramen and reporters, which improved performance efficiency. However, technical challenges such as internet disruptions and insufficient training were noted. The study recommends the development of digital media infrastructure, continuous technical training for field teams, and the integration of internet broadcasting strategies into editorial planning.
