ملخص: The study aimed to investigate the relationship between identity crisis and psychological security among students at Al-Quds Open University، Gaza branch، and to determine the significance of differences in the average responses of the study participants regarding the levels of identity crisis and psychological security based on the variables: gender، academic average، and academic level. The study relied on a correlational descriptive approach، and the study population consisted of 2084 students، from which a sample of 305 students was selected using the convenience sampling method. Both the identity Crisis Scale and the Psychological security Scale were used as tools for the study. The results showed that the level of the Identity Crisis Scale was moderate، as was the level of psychological security. The results also indicated a strong inverse correlation between identity crisis and psychological security. Additionally، the result revealed statistically significant differences in the Identity Crisis Scale based on the variable of academic average، favoring students with lower academic averages. While no statistically significant differences were found in the Identity Crisis Scale based on the variables of gender and academic level. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in the Psychological Security Scale based on the variables of gender، academic average، and academic level. In light of the study's findings، The researcher recommends the necessity of having counselors to provide guidance to students and assist them in overcoming their problems. Furthermore، it is essential to develop counseling programs aimed at reducing the level of identity crisis and enhancing feelings of psychological security among students.
