ملخص: This study aimed to identify the reality of the availability of administrative competencies among school principals and their relationship to creative classroom management among public school teachers from the point of view of principals and teachers in government schools in the northern governorates. For this study, the researcher used a correlational descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of all the principals and teachers in the Northern governorates, (1859) male and female principals and (32414) male and female teachers. The questionnaire was distributed to the study sample, which included (124) male and female principals and (348) male and female teachers chosen by the cluster random sample method during the school year 2022/2023. The results showed that the degree of the availability of administrative competencies among principals of public schools from their point of view was high. The Arithmetic mean was (4.08), by a percentage of (81.6%); while “self-competencies” was the highest. The results also showed that the degree of availability of administrative competencies among principals of public schools from teachers’ point of view in the Northern governorates was high. The Arithmetic mean was (4.07), by a percentage of (81.4%); “self-competencies” were the highest while “competencies of managing financial and material resources” were the lowest. As for creative class management, the results showed that the level among public school teachers from the principals’ point of view was high. The Arithmetic mean was (4.04), by a percentage of (80.8%); the “evaluation” was the highest while “decision making” was the lowest. The results also showed that the level of creative class management among public school teachers from their point of view was high. The Arithmetic mean was (4.17), by a percentage of (83.4%); the “evaluation was the highest, but “effective communication” was the lowest. The study also showed a statistically significant correlation between the study variables, where there was a positive correlation between the availability of administrative competencies among school principals and creative classroom management among public school teachers from the point of view of principals in the northern governorates. Considering the study’s results, the researcher recommends that educational institutions provide opportunities for teachers to access vital practical procedures that achieve effective classroom management in line with contemporary educational trends. Additionally, educational institutions should increase their interest in training teachers on good class planning- whether at the beginning of the service or during it- and how to transform the content of the plan into practices within the classroom while maintaining a high degree of availability of administrative competencies among principals by providing them with appropriate financial and moral support.
