Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the mediating role of social intelligence in the relationship between administrative empowerment and organizational change in the Ministry of National Economy.The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of employees in the Ministry of Economy in the southern West Bank, which numbered approximately (300) employees, and the size of the study sample was (142).
The results found, first, that the level of administrative empowerment in its dimensions (training, delegation, incentives, communication, work teams) in the Ministry of National Economy from the employees’ point of view was moderate, and the results showed that the level of organizational change in its dimensions (strategic change, technological change, organizational structure) In the Ministry of National Economy, from the employees’ point of view, it was average The third results also showed that the level of social intelligence in the Ministry of National Economy, from the point of view of employees, was high
While it was found that there is a strong positive relationship between administrative empowerment in its dimensions (training, delegation, incentives, communication, work teams) and organizational change in its dimensions (strategic change, technological change, organizational structure change, organizational culture change) in the Ministry of National Economy from the perspective of employees and social intelligence as an intervening variable, and that there is a strong positive relationship between social intelligence and administrative empowerment in its dimensions (training, delegation, incentives, communication, work teams) in the Ministry of National Economy from the perspective of employees, and that there is a relationship between social intelligence and organizational change in its dimensions (strategic change, technological change, organizational structure change, organizational culture change) in the Ministry of National Economy from the perspective of employees, and that there is a strong positive relationship between administrative empowerment in its dimensions (training, delegation, incentives, communication, work teams) and organizational change in its dimensions (strategic change, technological change, organizational structure change, organizational culture change) in the Ministry of National Economy from the perspective of employees.
The researcher recommends strengthening social relations, which will contribute to raising the level of social intelligence further and enhance the effectiveness of work within the Ministry of Economy.
There is a need to explore ways to enhance the financial support and resources necessary to accelerate the process of organizational change, which will help the Ministry of Economy achieve its goals more efficiently and adapt to significant changes.
