| Abstract: | The current study aimed to know the most prominent patterns of socialization and family values among the martyrs’ parents, and to find out if there are statistically significant differences in the patterns of socialization and family values, depending on the variables (gender, place of residence, monthly income, educational qualification, and duration of martyrdom) It also aimed to know the relationship between socialization patterns and family values. The current study relied on the procedures and steps of the descriptive correlational approach. To achieve the previously mentioned goals, the study population consisted of (600) fathers and mothers, a sample of whom was chosen using a simple random sampling method through the Robert Mason equation, and it amounted to (234) parents of martyrs in Jinn Governorate yen, and was applied to them through two scales of socialization patterns, And family values. The current study concluded that the total score for the democratic style, the protection style, the redundancy style, and the receptive style was high, while the ostracism style was moderate, and the total score for family values was high. The study also concluded that there were no A statistically significant score on the socialization patterns scale according to the gender variable With the exception of the area of (pattern of acceptance) in favor of males, monthly income, educational qualification, and duration of martyrdom, while the differences were statistically significant according to the variable of years of service; The differences were statistically significant in the field of (the democratic style, the style of acceptance, the style of overprotection) with the exception of the field of (the authoritarian style) and for the housing variable. The results also indicated that there were no significant differences Based on the family values scale according to the gender variable, place of residence, with the exception of the field (values Family care) and monthly income, with the exception of the field of: (moral values), academic qualification, and the duration of martyrdom. The results of the study indicated that there is a correlation between patterns of democratic upbringing, acceptance, and protection on the one hand, and family values and their areas on the other hand, among the parents of the martyrs in Jenin Governorate, as the relationship was positive and direct, and the existence of a statistically significant correlation between the authoritarian style on the one hand and family values and their areas. On the other hand, for the parents of martyrs in Jenin Governorate, the relationship was inversely negative. |
