Abstract: The study aimed to identify community attitudes towards children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their impact on behavioral manifestations from the perspective of special education specialists in Palestine. The researcher employed a correlational descriptive methodology, with a study population consisting of 255 specialists. Data were collected using a questionnaire that included two scales: the first measured community attitudes, and the second assessed behavioral manifestations in children with autism. The study was conducted on a random sample of 153 specialists working in special education centers in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. An exploratory sample of 37 specialists was also utilized to verify the validity and reliability of the study tools. The results indicated that community attitudes towards children with ASD were at a moderate level, highlighting an urgent need to raise community awareness regarding this group. It was found that negative behavioral manifestations in children resulted from the influence of these attitudes, reflecting the significant role of the social environment in shaping their behaviors. Additionally, the study concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between community attitudes and the behavioral manifestations of children, as well as significant differences related to demographic variables such as gender, educational qualification, and years of experience Recommendations: The study included a set of measures, the most important which are: enhancing community awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder through comprehensive programs targeting all segments of society, developing the skills of special education specialists through workshops and specialized training courses, and intensifying media campaigns aimed at correcting misconceptions and promoting community acceptance of children with autism.
