Abstract: The study aimed to identify the behavior of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and its relationship with their social functioning, from the perspective of special education specialists in Palestine. A descriptive correlational approach was used, and a random sample of 95 specialists in the Nablus Governorate was selected. A questionnaire was used as the study tool. One of the most important findings of the study was that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the behavior of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and social functioning, from the perspective of specialists in the Nablus Governorate. Based on the results of this study, one of the most prominent recommendations was to conduct in-depth scientific studies on the behavior of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, develop individualized programs, and train specialists and individuals with autism spectrum disorder on how to deal with them during adolescence.
