ملخص: This study aimed to understand the impact of human resource planning on job performance in the Palestinian healthcare sector. The descriptive-analytical method was used to achieve this objective, relying on a questionnaire as a research tool. The study included a population of 108 employees working in human resource management in the public healthcare sector in Palestine. Due to the small sample size, a comprehensive survey was conducted. Structural equation modeling using the statistical analysis program SmartPLS4 was employed to test the hypotheses. The study revealed several important findings. It found that the degree of human resource planning in the public healthcare sector in the West Bank was high with an average of (4.193), and the overall score of job performance in the healthcare sector was high with an average of (4.161). The study also found a significant statistical impact of human resource planning on the job performance of employees in the public healthcare sector in Palestine. However, no significant impact was found for recruitment and selection strategies on job performance in the public healthcare sector. The study recommends encouraging public healthcare institutions to conduct job analysis and job evaluation for current and future employees, as well as providing the necessary support and resources for workforce forecasting and job design in public healthcare institutions. It emphasizes the importance of developing effective recruitment and selection plans to ensure the selection of suitable and qualified employees to meet the work requirements in public healthcare institutions. Furthermore, the study highlights the need to update and formulate current and future job descriptions to provide an accurate picture of job requirements in healthcare institutions. It also emphasizes the development of strategies to attract and retain exceptional employees by offering enticing incentives in public healthcare institutions.
