ملخص: | The current study aimed to identify influence of training strategy in developing the performance of workers in Palestinian universities / Case Study: Palestine Technical University Khadoury. This is done in light of the variables, gender, academic qualification, and years of experience, age, and job title. The analytical descriptive approach was used, and the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the study. A scale was applied, like the Garcia scale (Garcia, 2011), which the researcher developed and re-rationalized on the Palestinian environment. It was applied to a simple random sample consisting of (253) male and female employees, representing (32%) of the study population, which consisted of (790) employees at Khadoury Palestine Technical University. After collecting the questionnaires, the data was analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) methodology using the advanced statistical analysis program Smart-PLS3. The results of the study indicated that the total score for the training implementation dimension according to the employees of Khadoury Palestine Technical University was high, with an arithmetic mean of (3.444). The values of the arithmetic mean ranged between (3.16-3.76), which is higher than the theoretical mean. For further statistical validation, the significance value was tested, which indicated that there were statistically significant differences. It is clear from the results that the path coefficient between the training strategy and the development of the employees' performance is (0.716) statistically significant at the level of significance p = 0.000 ≤ 0.05, and that the value of t = 10.807 ≥ 1.96. This means rejecting the hypothesis that states that there is no statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α≤0.05). We find that there is an impact of the training strategy on developing the performance of employees at Khadoury University. It is clear from the results that the coefficient of the path between planning for training and development of the performance of employees (0.527) is statistically significant at the level of significance p = 0.001 ≤ 0.05, and that the value of t = 3.414 ≥ 1.96. This means rejecting the hypothesis that states that there is no statistically significant relationship between the design of training courses and the development of the performance of employees at Khadoury University, and the results were acceptable. The results showed that the coefficient of the path between the implementation of training and development of the performance of employees (2.99) is statistically significant at the level of significance p = 0.003 ≤ 0.05, and that the value of t = 2.762 ≥ 1.96. This means rejecting the hypothesis that states that there is no statistically significant relationship between the implementation of the training process and the development of the performance of employees at Khadoury University, and the result was acceptable. The total score for the training implementation dimension according to the employees of Khadoury Palestine Technical University was medium, with an arithmetic mean (3.444). The values of the arithmetic mean ranged between (3.16-3.76), which is higher than the theoretical mean. In light of these results and their discussion, the researcher suggested several recommendations. The most important of these was: to consider training as one of the university's priorities and to adhere to the philosophy and operations of training and be part of its mission, to work to encourage female employees to be more involved in the training processes so that they can achieve the desired benefit, and for the university administration to pay more attention to training new employees and to devise practical methods whose topics are related to the tasks required of them. |
