Employment of Modern Media Technology in Satellite Channels and its Impact on the Quality of Program Production - Palestine Tv As A model -

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of employment of modern media technology in satellite channels and its impact on the quality of program production in which Palestine Satellite Channel as a model, from the point of view of department managers and employees in the Department of General Administration of Programs according to the variable: (gender, age, academic qualification, years of experience, field of study, department in which he works), and to achieve this the researcher The correlational descriptive approach through the collection of quantitative and qualitative data (mixed), and the questionnaire was applied to a random sample of (90) male and female employees, and the interview was carried out on a sample that included (6) managers from the Public Administration Department, and their validity and stability were verified. The results showed that the total degree of employing modern media technology in the production of programs in the Palestine Satellite Channel was medium with (63.6%), and the results of the interview, with the directors of the departments, showed that information technology techniques are employed in collecting information, and the use of Wi-Fi and computer technology. The financial difficulties are one of the most important reasons, and the results showed that the level of quality of program production in the Palestinian Palestine Satellite Channel was medium with (61.8%), and this was confirmed by the results of the interview, so that it showed that the employment of modern media technology techniques has an impact to obtain the quality and accuracy of the media material, and facilitate the process of communication and communication, and that workers have the skill and talent to employ modern technologies. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the respondents in employing modern media technology techniques and the production of programs in the Palestine Satellite Channel attributed to variables: (gender, age, educational qualification, years of experience, field of study, department in which he works), and also showed a positive and positive statistically significant correlation between the employment of modern media technology and the quality of program production in Palestine Satellite Channel. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need to employ and develop modern media technology techniques, specifically in technical and creative departments, and to develop the capabilities and skills of workers in the General Administration Department of Programs.
