Abstract: | The study aimed to identify The role of knowledge management as a mediating variable in the relationship between organizational agility and administrative empowerment in the Palestinian Ministry of Education. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study population consisted of all holders of supervisory positions in the Palestinian Ministry of Education in the West Bank, and their number (556) male and female employees of different categories in the building of the Ministry of Education in Ramallah (headquarters). The study sample consisted of (227) male and female employees of different categories in the Palestinian Ministry of Education for the year 2021, which the researcher took to identify the psychometric properties of the study tools and the following measures (knowledge management, organizational agility, and administrative empowerment). The study reached several results including: that the level of dimensions of organizational agility is at a high degree, and that the level of dimensions of administrative empowerment is at a medium degree, and that the level of knowledge management dimensions is at a medium degree. the presence of a statistically significant effect of organizational agility dimensions (decision-making agility, agility of practice) The study pointed to the presence of a statistically significant effect of organizational agility dimensions (decision-making agility, agility of practice) on administrative empowerment in the Palestinian Ministry of Education, and the presence of a statistically significant effect of organizational agility dimensions (decision-making agility, agility of practice) on knowledge management in the Palestinian Ministry of Education, and the presence of a statistically significant effect of knowledge management (knowledge storage, knowledge application, and knowledge generation ) in the Palestinian Ministry of Education on the administrative empowerment of the ministry. It also indicated that there is a correlation between organizational agility, administrative empowerment and knowledge management in the Palestinian Ministry of Education, and there are no statistically significant differences between the response averages of respondents regarding the degree of availability of organizational agility variables according to demographic variables: (gender, job title, educational qualification), except The years of experience variable is in favor of 10 years to less than 5 years, and the age variable is in favor of 30 years to 39 years. And there were no statistically significant differences between the response averages of the respondents regarding the degree of availability of administrative empowerment variables according to the demographic variables: (gender, job title, educational qualification, age) except for the variable years of experience in favor of less than 5 years, and also no statistically significant differences between the averages respondents' response about the degree of availability of knowledge management variables according to demographic variables: (gender, job title, educational qualification, age). Except for the variable years of experience in favor of less than 5 years. |
