Abstract: The study aims to figure out the relation between the exposure to the traumatic experience of resulting viewing of martyrs’ pictures in media and the psychosomatic disorder in high school in the Hebron province. The sample study consists of (378) students in 2020/2021. They are chosen in the random Cluster method, using the associated descriptive approach. The study tools consist of the traumatic experience scale and the symptom psychosomatic disorder scale. The outcomes show that the degree of exposure to the traumatic experience resulting from viewing the martyr’s pictures in the media was high, and the degree of psychosomatic disorder symptoms and all its dimensions are moderate and the psychosomatic disorder comes in the first place after the psychological disorders. Additionally, the results indicate that there are no statistically significant differences in exposure to the traumatic experience resulting from viewing martyrs pictures in media attributed to variables: gender, section, the average in the previous year, birth order, whereas the significant differences depending on the variable of the place of residence between the city on the one hand and the camp and village on the other hand in favor of the city. Furthermore, the results show that there are no significant differences in the symptoms of the psychosomatic disorder and it’s all dimensions which attribute to flowing variables: Gender, the place of residence, sections, and birth order, while the significant differences were in the dimension of psychological symptoms according to the variable of the average of the last year between excellence on the one hand, and both very good and acceptable on the other hand in the favor of very good and acceptable. Also, the significant differences are between very good and good while, the significant differences are in the psychological disorders and all its dimensions according to the variable of the average of the last year between excellence, very good and good. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant correlation between the exposure to the traumatic experience resulting from viewing the martyr’s pictures in the media and the symptoms of the psychosomatic disorder among high school students in the Hebron governance. The relationship is a positive correlation, in the other words; the greater the degree of exposure to the traumatic experience of viewing the martyrs' pictures in media, the higher the level of the symptoms of psychosomatic disorder. As a result of the studies, the researcher recommends that there is a social and media responsibility that causes the media to don't to publish pictures of martyrs and show blood and violent actions, for these lead to viewers experiencing traumatic experiences and symptoms of psychosomatic. Also, it means that is the immoral role for one of the rules of ethics for media and journalistic work.
