ملخص: This study aims at identifying the relationship between future anxiety and the motivation to achieve good grades among general secondary stage students in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate in light of Covid-19 pandemic, and to identify the level of future anxiety, the level of motivation to achieve, and the motivation to achieve among a sample of secondary stage students in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate in light of Covid-19 pandemic and taking into consideration some variables (gender, place of residence, study stream, school average in previous year). To achieve the study’s objectives and test its hypothesis, the researcher uses the descriptive correlative approach. The researcher developed a questioner and tested the validity and stability of this tool. The study was applied to a non-random sample which included (233) male and female students from the general secondary stage “Tawjihi” in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, including (104) male students and (129) female students. After the data was collected and analyzed using the SPSS program, the researcher reached the following results: Results indicate that the level of future anxiety among the study sample is moderate, with a mean of (3.20) and a standard deviation of (0.833). The level of motivation to achieve is also high, with a mean of (3.98) and a standard deviation of (0.593). There are no statistically significant differences between the means of future anxiety among students that are related to the variables of gender, place of residence, study stream, and the student’s average in the previous year. Furthermore, results indicate that there are no statistically significant differences between the means of achievement motive among students related to the variables of gender, place of residence and study stream, whereas there are statistically significant differences between the means of achievement motivation among the students that are attributed to the student’s average in the previous year in favor of students who obtained an average (from 70 to less than 80). Results also reveal the absence of a statistically significant correlation between future anxiety and achievement motive among high school students "Tawjihi" in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate during Covid-19 pandemic.
