Abstract: This thesis bears the title "The Story of Joseph in Contemporary Palestinian Poetry". It came in three chapters, preceded by a preface and an introduction, followed by a conclusion and a summary of the most important conclusions and recommendations, and thus proven to the most important sources and references. The chapter deals with the impact of the Quranic story on poetry, the Holy Quran, its magic and its miracles, and its relation to inheritance. The chapter presents examples of the Qur'anic stories that were presented to the poets. The chapter analyzes the semantic dimensions of the Qur'anic story in poetry, such as the Flood, the story of Cain and Abel, The prophets of God Abraham and Moses, the migration of the Prophet Muhammad , and the Isra and Maraj. The second chapter included the semantic spaces of Youssef's story in the contemporary Palestinian poetry, in terms of linking the events of the story of Prophet Yusuf and his suffering to the reality of the Palestinian people in several matters, including the exile and the suffering of the refugees, and the return of Joseph, which embodied hope for the return of the Palestinian people from the Diaspora. To some national views in the story such as Jerusalem and the siege of Gaza and other Palestinian mirrors that intersect with the suffering of the Prophet Yusuf Yusuf. The third chapter includes some stylistic phenomena that appeared in the story of Joseph in the Palestinian poetry, such as the phenomenon of the semantic shift adopted by some poets in the transformation of some of the events of the story of Joseph according to the vision of the author, and analyzed some of the manifestations of the artistic image in the story of Joseph, The interior of that poetry, as the rhythm of individual sounds, the anaphylaxis and the phenomenon of repetition. The letter ended with a conclusion and a summary of what the researcher reached, and it was followed by a list of proven sources and references.
