Abstract:
This study aimed to identify organizational conflict management strategies in public institutions in the city of Jericho, and to identify the impact of conflict management strategies on strengthening organizational relations in public institutions in the city of Jericho. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of workers in government institutions in the city of Jericho, and the number of institutions was (15) institutions, and the number of employees in them reached (391), and the total study sample consisted of (391) respondents from workers in public institutions, and individuals were selected The sample using the comprehensive survey method, where questionnaires were distributed to them, and (301) questionnaires were retrieved, representing 77% of the study population. Its validity and reliability were measured. Among the most important results of the study were: 1. There is a statistically significant effect at the significance level (.05) of the organizational conflict management strategies in strengthening organizational relations among workers in public institutions in Jericho Governorate. 2. There is a high degree of response to the use of organizational conflict management strategies among workers in public institutions in Jericho Governorate. 3. There is a high degree of response to organizational relations among workers in public institutions in Jericho Governorate. 4. There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a < 0.05) in the effect of applying organizational conflict management strategies in public institutions in Jericho Governorate on strengthening organizational relations according to gender, academic qualification, years of experience, and job description. 5. There is a positive statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of organizational conflict management strategies (confrontation and disclosure, compromise, competition, and cooperation) and the total score and the axis (enhancing organizational relationships) from the point of view of workers in public institutions in Jericho Governorate, and the presence of a negative relationship Weak, not statistically significant between the domain (avoidance) and the axis (enhancement of organizational relationships). Among the most important recommendations of the study were: In light of the results of the study, the researcher suggested a set of recommendations that include the need to work on developing proposed strategies for conflict management as an entry point for developing organizational relations in public institutions in Palestine, and working on building administrative skills for settlement and management of organizational conflicts, especially in the areas of competition and avoidance. And the need to increase the interest of the Palestinian governmental institutions administration in raising and developing the organizational relations of its employees, in addition to holding more studies on this subject.
