الخلاصة:
The aim of this study is to identify the impact of a counseling program based on the behavioral cognitive model in reducing the work Pressures of educational counselors in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate. The sample of the study consisted of )30(counselors working in the schools of the Directorate of Education in Ramallah and al-Bireh, as well as those who recorded high grades on the scale of work Pressures and agreed to participate in the study.
The sample of the study was divided into two groups, one experimental with )15(counselors who received the counseling supervision program, consisting of )12(sessions, and the second a control group of )15(counselors who did not receive the counseling supervision program. The performance of the experimental and control groups was measured against the work Pressures scale before and after the counseling supervision program while follow-up of the experimental group was taken four weeks after the end of the program.
The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in relation to work Pressures for the experimental group whose members received the counseling supervision program based on the cognitive behavioral model.
The results of the study also showed that there were significant statistically differences between the pre-test and pro-test measurement on the experimental group for the post-test according the scale. The study showed that there were also statistically significant differences between post-measurement and follow-up to measurement, which was implemented four weeks after the end of the counseling supervision program.
The study recommended the implementation of the counseling supervision program for all counselors in all the Directorates of Education of the Ministry of Education.
