الخلاصة:
The study aimed to identify the role of civil society organizations working in East Jerusalem in empowering Jerusalemite women، and the study community consisted of female workers in civil society organizations in East Jerusalem، where a simple random sample of (319) workers was taken، and the descriptive analytical approach was adopted to achieve the objectives studying.
The study reached several results، the most important of which are:
- The approval of the study sample items at the level of (the effectiveness of training and rehabilitation - the involvement of civil society organizations - the field policies and procedures followed by the organizations - academic empowerment - economic empowerment - social empowerment) came to a high degree.
- The agreement of the study sample’s vocabulary with the challenges facing civil society organizations in empowering Jerusalemite women came to a medium degree.
- There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) due to the variable of age or social status.
- There are statistically significant differences about (the degree of involvement of civil society organizations operating in East Jerusalem in focusing strategic plans on Jerusalem women’s issues) at the level (0.05) and less between the study subjects whose job status is (manager) and the study subjects whose employment status is (employee). ، volunteer) ، for the benefit of the study subjects whose job status is (Manager).
The study made several recommendations، the most important of which are:
Emphasizing the need for clear strategies to train and rehabilitate women in all organizations to work on empowering them in all areas of life، and work to find clear field policies and procedures for civil society organizations to preserve and empower women.
