| Abstract: | ان دراسة اختلاف تصرف الضوء عند مروره بالمادة تبعا لاتجاه المجال الكهربائي يدل على طبيعة الموجات الضوئية باعتبارها موجات مستعرضة وليست طولية . ان معظم الضوء الموجود في الطبيعة هو ضوء غير مستقطب لكن يمكن الحصول على ضوء مستقطب بطرق مختلفة منها : الانعكاس والانكسار المزدوج في بعض البلورات والامتصاص الانتقائي والاستطارة . |
