Abstract:

إحدى القبائل الكنعانية التي سكنت مدينة القدس قبل احتلالها من قبل داود، فعرفت بمدينة اليبوسيين نسبة إليهم، وبنوا فيها قلعة أطلقوا عليها اسم قلعة صهيون، ومعناها (المرتفع)، وقد أطلق هذا الاسم على أكثر من مكان مرتفع في سوريا القديمة
