Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the effect of organizational culture in achieving the quality of health services in Palestinian hospitals functioning in Jerusalem. To achieve the study's objectives, the analytical descriptive approach was adopted. The questionnaire was the main tool used for collecting data. The study population consisted of 2380 employees in the five Palestinian hospitals operating in Jerusalem. The sample of the study was selected in a random way, and the sample size was 353 employees (14.83%) of the study population.
The results showed that there was a tangible and coherent organizational culture in the Palestinian hospitals operating in Jerusalem with a high degree of 83.20%. As for the quality of health services in Palestinian hospitals operating in Jerusalem, it was very high at 84.54%. The findings also revealed a statistically significant moral impact of organizational culture on the quality of health services in the five Palestinian hospitals operating in Jerusalem.
Based on the study’s findings, the researcher recommends promote the concept the organizational culture and its dissemination among employees in the medical and administrative staff. Participation of employees in developing future plans, and listen to the employees’ tendencies, desires, and ideas, and to analyzing these desires and ideas, so as to adopt the ideas in order to eventually enhance and support the level of quality of health services.
