Abstract

This study entitled "The Self and the Other in the Literature of Ghassan Kanafani and אברהם ב. יהושע" deals with examples of Ghassan Kanafani's novels and אברהם ב. יהושע. The aim of the study is to identify the cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict since its inception, and the impact of this conflict on the Palestinian and Hebrew literary text. The study was taken from the writer Ghassan Kanafani, אברהם ב. יהושע examples of the application. Then comes the second chapter, the Palestinian ego and the Israeli ego, comprising three main topics. The first topic: the concept of personality, linguistically and idiomatically. The second topic: the ego (the Jewish-Israeli self) (the lover המאהב - opposite the forest מול היערות) at אברהם ב. יהושע The third topic: The Palestinian Ego according to Ghassan Kanafani. Then comes the last chapter, entitled the Palestinian one with Ghassan Kanafani and the Israeli one with אברהם ב. יהושע It includes two main topics, the first topic: the Palestinian ego's view of the Jewish other, and the negative dialogue in a novel returning to Haifa, and the second topic: the Arab end in the novels of אברהם ב. יהושע
