Abstract:
The current study aimed to identify the level of self-efficacy (academic, social, and emotional), the level of psychological security, and the predictive ability of academic, social and emotional self-efficacy among secondary school students in Hebron Governorate. and emotionality), This psychological security measure and the study sample consisted of (146) male and female students from the study community during the second semester 2020-2021. Statistical significance in the averages of self-efficacy among secondary school students in Hebron Governorate schools for both the gender variable and the branch variable, while there are statistically significant differences in favor of the grade variable. The results of the study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the averages of psychological security among secondary school students in Hebron Governorate schools due to the three study variables. The study came out with a set of recommendations that the school should work on Providing an appropriate environment for the development of students’ self-efficacy, to ensure that the student obtains the best level of achievement and to work on providing an environment that provides psychological security for the student, because of its importance in improving the student’s academic achievement level and working to instill confidence in the student’s self through schools must establish a mechanism Suitable for working to raise the level of self-efficacy of students because of its great importance in increasing their educational attainment Preparing an educational program for male and female teachers and students to make them aware of the importance of competency beliefs and working to educate parents about ways to develop students’ self-efficacy, its importance and how to maintain it, and preparing seminars and workshops for teachers and parents to educate them about the importance of students’ psychological security, and increase their self-efficacy.
