Abstract:
The study aims to identify of parenting Stayles treatment and its relation with psychological adjustment and future anxiety among a sample of academically late secondary stage students in South Hebron Education Directorate, and to investigate the relation between methods of parental treatment and psychological adjustment and future anxiety among a sample of academically late secondary stage students in South Hebron Education Directorate.
The study adopts the correlative descriptive approach, using a stratified random sampling method according to gender, educational level of the father and mother, and economic level. The sample includes 300 male and female students from schools of South Hebron Education Directorate. The measurements includes the methods of parental treatment scale, the psychological adjustment scale, and the future anxiety scale.
The results of the study show that there are no differences in the methods of parental treatment among a sample of academically late secondary stage students in South Hebron Education Directorate due to variables of gender, number of family members, and educational level of the father and mother.
The results of the study indicates that there are differences in the methods of parental treatment (the democratic style, and the authoritarian style) among a sample of academically late secondary stage students in South Hebron Education Directorate due to variable of work of the father and mother.
