Abstract

This study aimed to study the citations of, in the books of Arabic heritage and books of proverbs and wisdom, by lexicographers, grammarians, morphologists and scholars of interpretations. This study was based on the most prominent books that cited ALkhansa' poetry. These citations are over eighty. Each citation, and each one was expressed in different expressions and meanings. This paper is also considered as a study of the linguistic phenomena cited by the books of heritage based on the expressions extracted by Alkhansa' poetry. The researcher tried to explore the semantics of these expressions in accordance with the requirements of the expression represented by words. To this end, this paper falls in an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion. The introduction gives a synopsis about the importance and objectives of the study, obstacles faced by the researcher, the limitations and problem of the study, and the methodology and structure. The second chapter sheds light on the life of Alkhansa' and critics' views of her poetry.

The second touches upon the citations of her poetry in dictionaries. The third deals with her citations in the books of grammar and morphology. And the fourth one casts light on her citations in the books of interpreters and the books of proverbs and wisdom.
