Abstract: This study aims to determine the availability of the basic concepts of total quality management application in the Palestinian pension agency, to determine the performance of the Palestinian Pension Agency, and to examine the relationship between the applications of total quality management and institutional performance in the agency. Furthermore, it checks the extent of variations between the responses of the surveyed people according to the demographic variables. A fifth topic needs to be considered is identifying the most important obstacles to the application of total quality management in the Palestinian Pension Agency. Finally, it puts some recommendations to address those obstacles, which may contribute to providing the full requirements of total quality in the Agency.
To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher uses the descriptive correlative method. The researcher relies on a questionnaire to collect data. The study population includes all employees of the Palestinian Pension Agency in its three branches in the cities of Ramallah, Hebron and Gaza where the total number of the employees is 130. A comprehensive survey was conducted for all of them, 130 questionnaires were distributed and the number of the retrieved questionnaires reached 119, thus questionnaires retrieval rate was 92%.
The study conclusion comes as follows: First, that all comprehensive quality requirements are available at the Pension Agency and are at an average level. Second, surveyed employees’ answers reveal that the institutional performance of the Pension Agency in all its axes is at an average level according to the balanced scorecard. Third, the study also finds a positive and statistically significant relationship at the level of 0.05 between the total degree of total quality management application requirements from one side and the total degree of the institutional performance reality and it’s all dimensions from the other side. Fourth, the study concludes that there are differences in the availability of total quality management application basic concepts and the reality of institutional performance in the Palestinian Pension Agency due to the variables of the workplace and management in which the employee works and the job title.
In light of study results, the researcher has the following recommendations: senior management should adopt the idea and the philosophy of total quality, and to adopt it as an administrative approach in the management of the agency. Abstract: Individuals need self-leadership, through which they lead their feelings and behaviors, and stimulate their interior motivations to achieve the desirable objectives. This is not possible to grasp optimally within a corruption-exacerbating environment, that undermining all efforts of comprehensive and sustainable development. Although legal rules, regulations and legislation are not enough by themselves in this aspect, it has become a necessity to create a self-immunity for individuals which will contribute of limiting the corruption since protecting our nation along with its _ is a social responsibility. Therefore, this study sought to acknowledge the significance of self-leadership and its relation with implementing integrity and transparency in the Palestinian public sector institutions; Palestinian Ministry of Finance as a model.
The researcher applied the descriptive analytical method, as she designed a questionnaire that included (98) paragraphs, which included aspects of the study and its topics. That, reached a degree of sincerity, stability and internal consistency, as it was distributed to the study individuals’ sample, using the stratified relative sample based on the “occupation title” flat, whose amount has reached (259) female and male employees. Also, the questioner was analyzed by the renowned SPSS25 program.
The study resolved to a result suppose; a presence of impressive morale relationship between the two variables; the independent “self-leadership” variable and the dependent variable that is represented in “integrity and transparency”: that self-leadership explain the extent (45%) from the total variance of the variable 'integrity', and the extent of (18.1%) of the total variance of the dependent variable “transparency”, which confirm the presence of a direct relationship between the variables of this study, that signifies; The higher the level of "self-leadership" implementation among Palestinian public sector employees is, the higher the level of implementation of "integrity" and "transparency" will be. Furthermore, the integrity appeared with a higher fraction than transparency, which may be due to the fact that the former associated with the various levels of the values and morals system of the individual, as for the latter, it is more closely related to the procedures, systems, rules and legal regulations in the institution departments.
The study emphasizes conclusions, through which the researcher presents several recommendations. Abstract: This study aimed at finding out the impact of blended marketing elements of the operating retailed stores in Palestine on the marketing performance of these stores as well as the mediating role of marketing capabilities that these stores could have. This study was conducted over workers of the operating retailed stores in Palestine where the descriptive analytical method was used to describe the variables of this study. It covered only the areas of Ramallah, Nablus and Hebron and the study population consisted from all workers at these retailed stores (2392 workers) who works in big supermarkets. The questionnaire distributed over Quota Sampling given the nature of retailed stores’ population. The total number of distributed questionnaires was (400) out of which 338 questionnaires considered valid for analysis, i.e. 84.5% of total original study sample. Abstract: The study aimed to find out the relationship between transformational leadership and strategic performance in the Palestinian municipalities classified - A - in the Nothern Governorates, from the point of view of employees. The study adopted descriptive correlative, and a comprehensive survey was chosen that included (140) employees due to the small size of the community, (112) questionnaires retreived.
The results of the study showed that the level of transformational leadership among the employees in the Palestinian municipality classified - A - in the Nothern Governorates the was high, with average of (3.81). The “ideal influence” ranked the first, with average of (4.27) and a high level, while the “inspirational stimulation” ranked the last, with an average of (4.08) and a high level. Moreover, the level of application of strategic performance among employees in the Palestinian municipalities classified - A - in the Northern Governorates was high, with average of (3.94). The results also indicated a statistically significant positive correlation at the significant level (α≤.05) between the ideal influence and strategic performance in the Palestinian municipalities classified - A - in the آNorthern Governorates, equals (.59). Also, there was a positive correlation between inspirational motivation and strategic performance, equals (.61). The results also indicated that there was a positive correlation between intellectual arousal and strategic performance, equals (.63), and a positive correlation between individual consideration and strategic performance, equals (.69), a statistically significant correlation found between empowerment and strategic performance, equals (.70), more over, there was a statistically significant correlation between transformational leadership and strategic performance, equals (.72). Based on the results, the researcher recommends strengthening reliance on the transformational leadership style in the management of municipalities in order to increase the effectiveness of strategic performance in the municipalities.2021-01-01T00:00:00Z
